John Eltringham and Gene Nosovitch Share the July Producer of the Month Title

Congratulations to John Eltringham and Gene Nosovitch from HMK for being the July winners! It isn’t often we have dual winners who are running exactly neck and neck.

In second is Ryan Amey from Miers Insurance and in third is Andrew Stoll from the Stoll Agency. All four producers had over $400,000 in new business in July!

Year-to-date standings have Gene Nosovitch staying ahead of John Eltringham for the first and second places and Kenny Serfass of Miers remaining in third.

Timothy Price of HMK remains in first place with Brent Jones of Christian-Baker Company holding the second and Josh Birk of Harding-Yost stays in third.

PDM Insurance stays in first with Zinn Insurance moving up to second. Gearhart Herr moves back into the number three spot.

Ryan Amey Wins June Producer of the Month

Ryan Amey of Miers Insurance was the winner of June’s Producer of the Month title, beating out Time Price of HMK and Brent Jones of Christian-Baker, who came in second and third respectively.

The Year-to-date standings remain unchanged from last month, with Gene Nosovitch of HMK in the lead, John Eltringham, also from HMK, running close behind, and Kenny Serfass of Miers Insurance hanging in in third.

Next Generation Award

The Next Generation contest also remains unchanged, with Timothy Price of HMK in first place, Brent Jones of Christian-Baker Company in second ,and Josh Birk of Harding-Yost in third.

Diversification Award

JP Geise Named President of Doty & Hench

Doty and Hench of State College announced that JP Geise is the new President of the Agency.

JP assumes the position succeeding his father, Joe Geise, who will remain with the agency.

Kenneth Serfass Becomes New Shareholder at Miers Insurance

On May 1, 2021, Miers Insurance has named Kenneth M. Serfass a shareholder in the company. Serfass has been a successful insurance consultant and part of the leadership team within the firm. The Board of Directors of Miers Insurance is excited for him to become a vested partner in the firm.

Established in 1892, Miers Insurance is one of the oldest, privately-owned independent insurance agencies in Pennsylvania. The firms practice areas include business insurance, personal insurance, employee benefits and risk management services. The firm has protected the stories of its clients for over 129 years.
