Kenny Serfass of Miers Insurance Wins 2020 Producer of the Year Award

The Insurance Alliance Network held its annual Accelerations Sales Contest luncheon this year in a virtual format on January 21.

At the event, The Insurance Alliance Network presented Kenny Serfass of Miers Insurance with its Commercial Lines Producer of the Year Prize in recognition of his outstanding achievement in its 2020 Accelerations Sales Contest.

In addition, Kenny also received the December Producer of the Month award, which contributed to his win.

In presenting the award to Kenny Serfass, Jane Koppenheffer, President of The Insurance Alliance Network, commented:

The Insurance Alliance Network sponsored the 2020 Accelerations Sales Contest in order to recognize the performance of its Commercial Lines producers. Over thirty-five producers from eleven different Alliance member agencies participated in the contest. The participants participated in educational and sales training meetings with the corporate and platinum sponsors of the contest. They also had the opportunity to build connections with other Alliance producers.

Kenny’s outstanding production is a reflection of his professionalism, personal motivation, and the support he receives from his agency.

At the event, The Insurance Alliance Network presented Gene Nosovitch of Hampson-Mowrer Agency, LLC (HMK Insurance) with its Diversification Award in recognition of his outstanding achievement in its 2020 Accelerations Sales Contest.

In presenting the award to Gene Nosovitch, Jane Koppenheffer, President of The Insurance Alliance, commented:

At the event, The Insurance Alliance Network presented Tim Flood of American Insurance Administrators, LLC (AIA) with its Next Generation Award in recognition of his outstanding achievement in its 2020 Accelerations Sales Contest.

In presenting the award to Tim, Jane Koppenheffer, President of The Insurance Alliance, commented:

The Insurance Alliance Network sponsored the 2020 Accelerations Sales Contest in order to recognize the performance of its Commercial Lines producers. Over thirty-five producers from eleven different Alliance member agencies participated in the contest. The Next Generation Award recognizes the producer with less than 3 years experience as an independent agency producer who had the most new sales in 2020.

At the event, The Insurance Alliance Network presented the Hampson-Mowrer Agency, LLC (HMK Insurance) with its Commercial Lines Agency of the Year Award in recognition of its outstanding growth in 2020. Jane Koppenheffer, President of The Insurance Alliance Network, presented the award as part of its 2020 Accelerations Sales Contest. The Insurance Alliance sponsored the 2020 Accelerations Sales Contest to challenge its sales staff from all its agencies.

In presenting the award to HMK, Jane Koppenheffer commented:

The Insurance Alliance sponsored the 2020 Accelerations Sales Contest to challenge its sales staff from all its agencies.

Christian-Baker Company certainly earned this award in 2020. Our Accelerations contest measured the growth over new business over the prior year. Each staff member needed to contribute in order for the agency to excel. Eric McBride Joins Zinn Insurance As Business Development Executive

Eric McBride, CRIS, from Orefield, PA, joins Zinn Insurance as a Business Development Executive.

A graduate of the University of Dayton, Eric has a background in business development, as well as over 10 years of experience with various lines of health and property and casualty insurance. His focus will be on Construction Risk Insurance. Eric will be available for all property & casualty lines of business, as well as pivoting to life and health insurance for mid to large-size accounts as situations arise.

The Insurance Alliance Network was recognized by Tuscarora Wayne Mutual Insurance Company as a top-performing agency in 2020.

As part of the recognition, the Tuscarora Wayne Mutual Foundation made a contribution to the Salvation Army of Harrisburg in our honor. Jane Koppenheffer, President of The Insurance Alliance Network, presented the check to Kathy Anderson-Martin, Director of Resource Development at The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region.

Congratulations to Chip Buck of HMK for being the November winner! In second was Paul Sheaffer of the Paul I. Sheaffer Agency, and in third was Tyler Eberly of Harding-Yost Insurance.

Year-to-date standings have Paul Sheaffer remaining ahead of Ryan Rispoli of HMK for the first and second spots and Kenny Serfass of Miers Insurance remaining in third.
