On September 10, 2019, The Insurance Alliance Network presented United Fire Group with its Commercial Lines Carrier of the Year Award in recognition of the outstanding partnership between the organizations. Jane Koppenheffer, President of The Insurance Alliance, presented the award as part of its Connections 2019 Carrier Recognition Event.
The Insurance Alliance sponsored Connections 2019 as an opportunity for its employees to interact with the insurance company employees that they work with on a daily basis, as well as regional and executive management. Participating were CEO’s, Regional Vice Presidents, Underwriting Managers, Claims Managers, Field Representatives, Underwriters and other key insurance company personnel from approximately 40 different insurance companies.
In presenting the award to United Fire Group, Jane Koppenheffer commented:
The Insurance Alliance Network selected United Fire Group to receive this award based on the results of a survey of over 100 Alliance employees. United Fire Group ranked the highest in categories such as Underwriting Expertise, Responsiveness, Ease of Doing Business, and Claims Service.
The Insurance Alliance has written over $3.5 Million in new business with United Fire Group since partnering in mid-2015. Continuing with the success even in 2019, The Alliance is maintaining it’s momentum with a 70% growth over 2018 year-to-date.
Some of the comments from our member employees who completed the survey included:
“UFG is probably my go to if it fits their market. I find them to be very competitive and they handle the quoting process quickly, and take care of the account very well once written.”
“Our Marketing Rep is responsive and easy to work with.”
“Our Marketing Rep has gone beyond the normal ""call of duty"" for myself and our agency. To help grow with their company."
When there is a strong partnership between independent insurance agencies and insurance companies, everyone wins – especially the consumers. The service they receive is improved through enhanced communication, deeper understanding of company policies and procedures, and a higher degree of responsiveness and cohesiveness.
The Insurance Alliance Network is a collective of 10 premier independent agencies located in the Central and greater Lehigh Valley regions of Pennsylvania. Through size, diversity and broad expertise, The Alliance offers on a regional level that which is normally found only with national brokers -- ranking in 2018 as the 20th largest agency partnership group in the nation. Its long-term growth and profitability has enabled The Alliance to secure preferred relationships with the region and nation's top insurance companies. With over 250 employees, its greater resources provide the sophistication to serve any size client. The Alliance ended 2018 with over $264 Million in Property-Casualty premiums written.
