Millers Mutual
Communicable Disease Exclusion will be included on All New and Renewal BOP and Umbrella Policies Effective 1.1.21
COVID-19 has impacted all of us personally and/or professionally. We continue to be challenged to make necessary adjustments to handle the impact of Covid-19. With that being said, Millers Mutual has been watching the Communicable Disease Exclusion topic closely. In fact, we’ve seen many carriers include a general liability and umbrella communicable disease exclusion endorsement on class specific situations as of July 1, 2020. As many insurance companies approach the January 1, 2021, reinsurance renewal, they are being advised by incumbent and prospective reinsurers that the communicable disease endorsement will be required as a condition of the renewal terms.
For this reason, a Communicable Disease Exclusion will be included on all new and renewal BOP and Umbrella Policies Effective 1.1.21.
Please contact Caroline Raneri, VP of Sales and Agency Relations, should you have any questions regarding this communication.
